Dr Andrew Harrold is dedicated to providing a high quality level of care to his patients. He is considerate of his patients’ busy schedules and prides himself on providing a comfortable and professional service. Andrew graduated his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland in 2007 with Honours. He received several academic awards whilst in his final year of study. He began his career in the public health sector in North Queensland. From there, he branched out to private practice, working as a dentist in the Australian Defence Force and supervising dental students within Queensland Health. Andrew has since worked predominantly in private practice and is currently undertaking postgraduate study in a Graduate Diploma of Oral Implantology.Andrew has always held a strong interest in anterior aesthetic dentistry. His meticulous attention to detail ensures you achieve your desired results. Andrew has recently been more involved with oral surgery, particularly implant surgery.
Andrew grew up in Brisbane and moved to Sydney in 2009. He spent part of his childhood in Hong Kong. Andrew’s interests outside of dentistry and postgraduate studies are golf, fishing and his new golden retriever puppy Leo.
Working in dental surgeries since 2000 as an assistant, Rachel was among the first cohort of Dental Hygienists in NSW to graduate from the University of Newcastle Bachelor of Oral Health degree program in 2010 and has been living and practicing in Sydney since.
Rachel thoroughly enjoys working as part of the team and loves her profession, regularly attending continuing professional development courses keeping up with the latest techniques to provide her patients with the best in dental care.
Rachel’s focus is on prevention and treatment of oral disease. She strongly believes “Practicing good oral hygiene is the foundation of preventative dentistry.”
Qualifying from Westmead Hospital in Dental Assisting in 2014 Sam has enjoyed working in multiple fields of dentistry. She enjoys the constant interaction with our patients and being able to provide the most up to date care. Sam is an integral part of the team here at Macquarie Dental and is in charge of all our cross infection policies and practices, she takes great pride in ensuring we adhere to the highest possible standards.
When Sam is not working she enjoys looking after her pets, watching the St George Dragons and indulging her love of skateboarding, golf and Batman!
